How it works

We open our space to painters, photographers, mixed-media artists, illustrators, and visual storytellers who wish to share their work with the public — without barriers, fees, or commissions.

If you are an artist working in Cyprus, and especially connected to Larnaca’s creative scene, we would love to see your work.

Our Philosophy

At StArt Café, art is not an accessory to coffee.
It is the reason the space exists.

We believe creativity should be accessible, lived, and respected — not commercialised or rushed. That’s why:

  • The exhibition space is offered free of charge

  • 100% of artwork sales go directly to the artist

  • We do not take commissions

  • We do not interfere with your pricing or artistic voice

Our role is not to profit from art —
it is to host it properly.

Abstract Urban Landscape

Curated, not random

Every exhibition at StArt Café is carefully curated.

A dedicated curator oversees:

  • Artist selection

  • Exhibition flow and harmony with the space

  • Visual consistency and presentation

  • Overall dialogue between artworks, environment, and audience

This ensures that each exhibition feels intentional, cohesive, and respectful — both to the artist and to the work itself.

What we’re looking for

We welcome submissions from artists working in:

  • Painting

  • Photography

  • Mixed media

  • Illustration

  • Conceptual or experimental visual work

We are especially drawn to work that:

  • Encourages reflection rather than spectacle

  • Communicates atmosphere, memory, or process

  • Feels honest, intentional, and thoughtfully presented

There is no “right style” — only clarity of vision.
